MCP & it's Component(s)

Remove MCP components from MCP groups in Akto.

To remove MCP components from an MCP group:

1. Navigate to the MCP group from Agentic Discovery page

2. Select the checkbox next to the MCP component(s) you want to remove

3. Click Remove from MCP group button at the bottom

4. Confirm the removal

Important Notes

• This removes components from the group only

• MCP endpoints remain in your inventory

• They can be added to other groups

• Supports bulk removal (select multiple components)

Use Cases

• Reorganizing MCP groups by server type

• Moving MCP servers between risk categories

• Removing decommissioned MCP servers from active groups

• Updating group membership after permission changes
